Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan and lightly coat it with flour.

Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl until well combined.

Beat the softened butter and sugar together with an electric mixer until light and fluffy.

Add the eggs one at a time, beating after each addition. Mix in the vanilla extract.

Alternate adding the dry ingredients and sour cream to the butter mixture, starting and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.

Gently fold in the well-drained crushed pineapple. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Once the cake has cooled completely, mix the powdered sugar and pineapple juice to create a glaze. Drizzle evenly over the top of the cake.
