High Protein Honey BBQ Chicken Mac (Print-Friendly Version)

Tender chicken, zesty BBQ, honey, and cheese combine for a comforting protein-rich meal prep mac.

# Ingredients List:

→ Pasta

01 - 200 grams macaroni

→ Protein

02 - 450 grams chicken breast, cooked and shredded

→ Dairy

03 - 100 grams low-fat cheese
04 - 240 millilitres milk

→ Sauce

05 - 120 millilitres BBQ sauce
06 - 15 millilitres honey

→ Seasonings

07 - Salt, to taste
08 - Ground black pepper, to taste

→ Optional toppings

09 - Sliced green onions
10 - Additional cheese

# How to Make It:

01 - Cook macaroni in boiling salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain thoroughly and set aside.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, add shredded chicken breast, BBQ sauce, honey, and milk. Stir thoroughly to evenly coat the chicken.
03 - Add the drained macaroni and 100 grams low-fat cheese to the chicken mixture. Mix until all components are well blended.
04 - Spoon the mixture into a baking dish. If desired, sprinkle additional cheese on top.
05 - Place the baking dish in a preheated oven at 175°C and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until heated through and cheese is melted and bubbling.
06 - Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly. Portion into meal prep containers and garnish with sliced green onions if desired.
07 - Store prepared portions in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Reheat thoroughly before serving.
