Dr Ashton Gelatin Collagen (Print-Friendly Version)

Protein-rich gelatin made with fruit juice, collagen, and berry topping. Refreshing, light, and subtly sweet.

# Ingredients List:

01 - 2 tablespoons unflavored gelatin, preferably grass-fed
02 - 10–12 grams collagen peptides, unflavored or vanilla
03 - 250 millilitres unsweetened fruit juice such as pomegranate, cranberry, or cherry
04 - 125 millilitres water, divided (60 millilitres cold, 60 millilitres warm)
05 - Stevia or monk fruit, to taste (optional, for light sweetness)
06 - Fresh berries, a handful (optional, for garnish)

# How to Make It:

01 - In a small bowl, add 60 millilitres of cold water. Sprinkle the gelatin evenly over the surface and allow it to bloom for 3–4 minutes.
02 - In a saucepan, gently warm the fruit juice and remaining 60 millilitres of water over low heat without bringing it to a boil.
03 - Add the bloomed gelatin to the warmed juice mixture, whisking thoroughly until the gelatin is fully dissolved.
04 - Stir in the collagen peptides and the optional sweetener, mixing until the solution is completely smooth.
05 - Pour the mixture into individual glass cups. Refrigerate for 2–3 hours until the gel is firm and set.
06 - Garnish with fresh berries before serving for additional color and flavor.

# Extra Tips:

01 - Opt for natural fruit juices to enhance both flavor and visual appeal, avoiding sweetened commercial mixes.
02 - Pair with vitamin C-rich fruit for improved collagen absorption.
03 - Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
04 - Ideal as a mindful evening snack or a light post-meal dessert.
