Cinnamon Roll Bliss Bars (Print Version)

Sweet, swirled bars with cinnamon-sugar layers and delicate icing - a delightful twist on classic cinnamon roll flavors.

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 cups all-purpose flour
02 - 1 cup granulated sugar
03 - 1 cup brown sugar, packed
04 - 1 teaspoon baking powder
05 - ½ teaspoon baking soda
06 - ½ teaspoon salt
07 - 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
08 - 2 large eggs
09 - 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
10 - 3 teaspoons ground cinnamon
11 - ½ cup powdered sugar
12 - 1-2 tablespoons milk

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan with cooking spray or line it with parchment paper.
02 - In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
03 - In another bowl, cream the softened butter until light and fluffy. This process should take about 2-3 minutes.
04 - Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the creamed butter, mixing until everything is well blended. Gradually add the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
05 - In a small bowl, combine the cinnamon and ½ cup of granulated sugar. Spread half of the batter into the prepared pan, and sprinkle evenly with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
06 - Carefully spread the remaining batter on top of the cinnamon-sugar layer. Swirl gently with a knife for a marbled effect.
07 - Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the bars to cool in the pan for about 15 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
08 - Mix the powdered sugar with 1-2 tablespoons of milk to create a smooth icing. Drizzle it over the cooled bars for an extra special touch.
