Preheat the oven to 190°C. Lightly grease a 23×33-cm baking dish.

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté diced onions and minced garlic for 3–4 minutes until softened. Add ground beef and cook, breaking up with a spatula, until browned throughout. Drain excess fat thoroughly.

Stir Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper into the cooked beef mixture. Mix in the cream of mushroom soup until well combined.

Transfer beef mixture evenly to the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle half of the shredded cheddar cheese over the beef layer.

Arrange frozen tater tots in a single, even layer over the cheese and beef mixture.

Bake for 30–35 minutes until the tater tots are golden brown and crisp.

Remove from oven. Sprinkle remaining cheddar cheese over tater tots and bake 5 additional minutes until fully melted.
