03 - 300 grams cream of mushroom soup
04 - 110–220 grams shredded cheddar cheese or preferred variety
05 - 160–240 grams frozen mixed vegetables
06 - 1 medium onion, diced
07 - Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

08 - 120 milliliters sour cream
09 - 2.5 grams garlic powder
10 - 30–45 milliliters milk or broth, as needed
11 - 55–110 grams additional grated cheese, for topping

# How to Make It:

01 - In a large skillet over medium heat, sauté ground beef until thoroughly browned.
02 - Incorporate diced onion and continue cooking until softened. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Drain excess fat from the pan.
03 - Stir in cream of mushroom soup, frozen mixed vegetables, and sour cream if using. Add a small amount of milk or broth if the mixture is too thick, mixing until cohesive.
04 - Remove pan from heat and allow the mixture to cool for approximately 10 minutes to prevent excess moisture in the final dish.
05 - Evenly spread the meat and vegetable mixture into a greased 23x33 cm baking dish. Sprinkle with shredded cheese. Arrange frozen tater tots in a single layer on top, piercing several for steam release.
06 - Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C for 30–35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden and crisp. Scatter additional cheese on top during the last 5 minutes of baking if desired.
07 - Remove from the oven and allow to rest for 5 minutes before portioning and serving.
