Sweet Hawaiian Crockpot Chicken (Print Version)

Tender chicken with pineapple and peppers in a sweet-tangy sauce, simmered to perfection for an effortless tropical dinner.

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
02 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
03 - 1 cup pineapple chunks (fresh or canned)
04 - 1 cup bell peppers, chopped (red or green)
05 - 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
06 - 1/4 cup brown sugar
07 - 2 tbsp rice vinegar
08 - 1 tsp agar-agar powder

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Chop bell peppers into bite-sized pieces and mince garlic.
02 - Place chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot and sprinkle with minced garlic. Add pineapple chunks and bell peppers on top of the chicken.
03 - In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, and agar-agar powder; pour over chicken.
04 - Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
05 - Shred the chicken in the pot using two forks before serving.
