Sweet Hawaiian Crockpot Chicken (Print Version)

Juicy chicken bathed in a sweet-and-savory pineapple glaze, perfect for busy weeknights or laid-back weekend dinners.

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
02 - 1 cup pineapple juice
03 - 1/2 cup brown sugar
04 - 1/3 cup soy sauce
05 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
06 - 1/2 cup diced pineapple (optional)
07 - 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoon water (optional, for thickening)
08 - Chopped green onions, for garnish
09 - Salt and pepper, to taste

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Trim chicken and cut into bite-sized pieces. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
02 - In a bowl, whisk together pineapple juice, brown sugar, soy sauce, and minced garlic. Add diced pineapple if using.
03 - Place the chicken in the bottom of the crock pot and pour the sauce over the top.
04 - Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours, until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
05 - To thicken the sauce (optional), mix cornstarch with water and stir into the crock pot during the last 30 minutes of cooking on high.
06 - Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
