# Ingredients:

01 - 1 sheet puff pastry, defrosted (about 8 oz)
02 - ¼ cup granulated sugar
03 - 1 tsp ground cinnamon
04 - ½ cup butter, melted
05 - 1 egg (optional, for egg wash)
06 - Powdered sugar for decoration (optional)

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick.
03 - In a small bowl, mix the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon together.
04 - Brush the rolled-out pastry with the melted butter, then sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture generously over the surface.
05 - Cut the dough into 1-inch wide strips. Twist each strip several times, then place them on the prepared baking sheet.
