Cut hearts or rectangles out of the puff pastry. Use the full 400g pastry for hearts or half for rectangles. Save the offcuts for later use as a pie base.

Brush eggwash over the top of the cut pastry shapes.

Place the prepared pastries in the oven and bake until golden and fully cooked.

Slice the baked pastry shapes open to prepare for filling.

Spoon 1 teaspoon of strawberry jam into the bottom half of each pastry.

Pipe the sweetened whipping cream, mixed with white cocoa syrup, on top of the strawberry jam.

Place freshly sliced strawberries on top of the whipped cream.

Close the top portion of the pastry over the filling.

Dust the assembled pastries with icing sugar and drizzle melted chocolate over the top. Serve and enjoy.
