Place the eggs in a pot and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil, then lower the heat to simmer for 10 minutes. Transfer eggs to an ice bath for easy peeling.

Peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise. Scoop out the yolks and place them in a mixing bowl.

Mash the yolks with mayonnaise and chili garlic sauce until smooth and creamy. Adjust the spice level by adding more chili garlic sauce if desired.

Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites. Use a piping bag with a star tip for a decorative presentation if preferred.

Sprinkle smoked paprika over the eggs and top with crispy fried onions. Serve immediately or chill in the fridge until ready to serve.
