Spicy Cauliflower Turkey Bowl (Print-Friendly Version)

A quick, protein-packed meal featuring spiced ground turkey with cauliflower rice, carrots, and bell peppers in just 20 minutes.

# Ingredients List:

01 - 6 oz (180 g) ground turkey
02 - 3 cups (about 1 small head) cauliflower rice
03 - 1 carrot, chopped
04 - 1/2 red bell pepper, chopped
05 - 1/2 tsp turmeric
06 - 2 tsp paprika
07 - 1 tsp cumin
08 - 1 tbsp pickled jalapenos
09 - 1/2 tsp black pepper
10 - 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
11 - 1/2 tsp coriander
12 - 2 tbsp olive oil
13 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
14 - Salt, to taste
15 - Optional: freshly chopped cilantro or parsley

# How to Make It:

01 - Place the ground turkey in a pan with about 1/4 cup water over medium-high heat. Cover and cook for 4-5 minutes.
02 - Uncover the pan and add turmeric, crushed red pepper flakes, black pepper, coriander, cumin, 1 tsp of paprika, and 1 minced garlic clove. Stir and cook uncovered for 2-3 minutes until excess water has evaporated.
03 - Reduce heat to medium. Stir in the chopped carrot and red bell pepper. Add the cauliflower rice, 1 tbsp olive oil, the remaining tsp of paprika, and salt. Stir, then cover the pan and let it cook for 3-4 minutes.
04 - Uncover the pan and stir in the remaining 3 minced garlic cloves, pickled jalapenos, and the other tbsp olive oil. Stir for 2 more minutes, then serve.
