01 - 450 g lean ground beef
02 - 0.5 yellow onion, finely chopped
03 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
04 - 2 cans (425 g each) tomato sauce
05 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
06 - 225 g egg noodles

07 - 240 ml sour cream
08 - 240 ml cottage cheese
09 - 110 g cheddar cheese, grated

# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat oven to 180°C. Lightly grease a 33x23 cm baking dish with nonstick spray.
02 - In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef and chopped onion until beef is browned and fully cooked, about 10 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 additional minute.
03 - Add tomato sauce and Italian seasoning to the skillet. Stir well and let the mixture simmer for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat and set aside.
04 - Meanwhile, cook egg noodles in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
05 - In a large mixing bowl, combine sour cream and cottage cheese. Add cooked noodles. Season with salt and pepper, and stir until well combined.
06 - Spread half of the noodle mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish. Layer with half of the meat sauce. Repeat with remaining noodles and sauce.
07 - Evenly sprinkle grated cheddar cheese over the top. Bake in preheated oven until sauce is bubbling and cheese is melted, about 30 minutes.
08 - Allow casserole to cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
