01 - 2 pounds pork shoulder or pork butt, cut into chunks
02 - 1 can (20 ounces) pineapple chunks, drained, juice reserved
03 - 1/4 cup soy sauce
04 - 1/4 cup brown sugar
05 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
06 - 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
07 - 1 tablespoon cornstarch
08 - 1 tablespoon water
09 - Salt and pepper to taste
10 - Chopped green onions for garnish

# Steps to Follow:

01 - In a bowl, mix the pineapple juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper.
02 - Place the pork chunks into the slow cooker.
03 - Pour the pineapple juice mixture over the pork.
04 - Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the pork is tender.
05 - Add the pineapple chunks to the slow cooker during the last hour of cooking.
