Savory Crack Burgers (Print Version)

Juicy ground chuck burgers infused with ranch mix, crispy bacon and melted cheddar for an irresistible backyard barbecue favorite.

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 ½ lb ground chuck
02 - 3 Tbsp sour cream
03 - 2 Tbsp ranch dressing mix
04 - ⅓ cup cooked and crumbled bacon
05 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
06 - Hamburger buns
07 - Lettuce
08 - Tomato
09 - Mustard
10 - Mayo

# Steps to Follow:

01 - In a large bowl, combine the ground chuck, sour cream, ranch dressing mix, crumbled bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until well combined. Use your hands or a sturdy spoon to mix thoroughly but avoid overmixing to prevent tough burgers.
02 - Divide the mixture into 6 evenly sized patties. Use a burger press or a container lid for uniform thickness. Create a small dimple in the center of each patty to help prevent puffing during cooking. Wet your hands with cold water to avoid the meat sticking while forming the patties.
03 - Grill or pan-fry the patties over medium heat until they reach your desired doneness: 130-135°F for medium-rare, 140-145°F for medium, or 160°F for well done. Avoid pressing down on the patties while cooking to retain their juices. Preheat the grill or skillet for optimal cooking, and let the burgers rest for a few minutes after grilling.
04 - Place the cooked patties on your favorite hamburger buns. Add lettuce, tomato, mustard, mayo, or other preferred toppings such as pickles, onions, or avocado. For additional texture, toast the buns beforehand.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Don’t overmix the meat to keep the burgers tender.
02 - Use cold hands to form patties and prevent sticking.
03 - Check doneness using a meat thermometer for accurate results.
