Rinse and pat dry the chicken, cutting it into one-inch pieces if desired.

Place chicken at the bottom of the crockpot, spread cream cheese evenly on top, sprinkle ranch dressing mix and garlic powder, and pour chicken broth over everything.

Set crockpot to low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
