Easy Pumpkin Dump Cake (Print Version)

A simple fall dessert combining pumpkin, warm spices and yellow cake mix topped with butter and optional pecans.

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 (15 oz) can pumpkin purée
02 - 1 (12 oz) can evaporated milk
03 - 3 large eggs
04 - 1 cup sugar
05 - 1 tsp ground cinnamon
06 - ½ tsp ground nutmeg
07 - ½ tsp ground ginger
08 - ½ tsp salt
09 - 1 box yellow cake mix
10 - 1 cup (2 sticks) melted butter
11 - ½ cup chopped pecans (optional)

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 baking dish.
02 - In a large bowl, whisk pumpkin, evaporated milk, eggs, sugar, and spices until smooth.
03 - Pour mixture into the prepared dish. Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over the pumpkin layer.
04 - Drizzle melted butter over the top, covering as much as possible. Sprinkle with pecans if using.
05 - Bake for 50–55 minutes, until golden brown and set in the center.
06 - Cool slightly before serving. Best enjoyed with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
