                Peel and dice fresh peaches. Set aside.

                In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. In a separate bowl, beat eggs, then stir in milk and vanilla. Combine wet and dry ingredients just until mixed. Gently fold in the diced peaches.

                Add oil to a deep frying pan or Dutch oven until about 5 cm deep. Heat to 175°C.

                Drop heaping tablespoons of batter into the hot oil. Fry for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown. Avoid overcrowding the pan. Remove fritters using a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

                Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Drizzle over warm fritters or dip the tops directly into the glaze.
