Remove the peel from the oranges, ensuring as much of the white pith is removed as possible.

Blend the peeled oranges with an immersion or stand blender to create a smooth puree.

Transfer the orange puree to a saucepan. Stir in granulated sugar and add whole spices if using.

Cook the mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until it thickens to a jam consistency, approximately 20–30 minutes. Test thickness by placing a small amount on a chilled plate; the jam should wrinkle slightly when pushed.

Ladle the finished jam into sterilized canning jars. For long-term storage, process jars in a boiling water bath for 10 minutes or refrigerate for immediate use.
