Preheat oven to 175°C. Grease and flour a 23x33 centimeter baking pan to prevent sticking.

In a large bowl, combine all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, and softened butter. Cream ingredients together until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Press evenly into the base of the prepared baking pan.

Bake the crust for 15 to 20 minutes, or until lightly golden. Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly while preparing the filling.

In a separate bowl, whisk eggs and sugar until fully incorporated. Gradually add flour, whisking until the mixture is smooth.

Stir in fresh orange juice, orange zest, and vanilla extract until combined. Pour the filling evenly over the cooled crust.

Return pan to oven and bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the filling is set and lightly golden. A toothpick inserted near the center should come out clean.
