# Ingredients:

01 - 4 cups fresh mulberries, rinsed and stems removed
02 - 2 cups granulated sugar
03 - 2 tablespoons lemon juice
04 - 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
05 - 1/4 cup water

# Steps to Follow:

01 - In a large saucepan, combine mulberries, sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon (if using), and water.
02 - Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the sugar dissolves and the mixture starts to boil.
03 - Reduce heat and simmer gently for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the jam thickens and reaches a gel-like consistency.
04 - To test, place a small spoonful on a chilled plate; if it wrinkles when pushed with your finger, the jam is ready.
05 - Remove from heat and let cool slightly before transferring to sterilized jars. Seal jars and refrigerate after opening.
