Mashed Sweet Potatoes Butter Cream (Print-Friendly Version)

Silky smooth sweet potatoes mashed with rich butter and cream, finished with just a touch of seasoning.

# Ingredients List:

→ Mashed Sweet Potatoes Base

01 - 900 grams sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into small pieces
02 - 56 grams butter, cut into four pieces
03 - 30 millilitres heavy cream
04 - 5 grams sugar
05 - 2.5 grams salt

→ Seasoning

06 - Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

# How to Make It:

01 - Peel sweet potatoes and cut into evenly sized small pieces for uniform cooking.
02 - Place sweet potatoes, heavy cream, butter, sugar, and salt into a large saucepan.
03 - Cover the saucepan and cook over low heat for 35 to 45 minutes, until sweet potatoes are very tender and easily pierced with a fork.
04 - Remove the pan from heat. Mash sweet potatoes thoroughly using a potato masher to desired consistency.
05 - Adjust seasoning with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste before serving.
