Honey Garlic Boneless Chicken Thighs (Print Version)

Tender grilled chicken thighs glazed with a sweet and savory honey garlic marinade that caramelizes beautifully on the grill.

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs
02 - 1/4 cup honey
03 - 1/4 cup soy sauce
04 - 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
05 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
06 - 1 teaspoon ground ginger
07 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
08 - 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
09 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
10 - Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)

# Steps to Follow:

01 - In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, ground ginger, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using) until well combined.
02 - Place the chicken thighs in a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring all pieces are well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to 8 hours for more flavor.
03 - Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grill grates to prevent sticking.
04 - Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade. Place the chicken thighs on the grill. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F and the chicken is nicely charred.
05 - Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Garnish with chopped green onions if desired.

# Additional Notes:

01 - For a smoky flavor, try adding a few drops of liquid smoke to the marinade.
02 - You can substitute chicken thighs with boneless, skinless chicken breasts for a leaner option.
03 - Serve with grilled vegetables or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
