Hearty Cowboy Casserole (Print-Friendly Version)

Comforting one-dish meal combining seasoned ground beef, corn and cheese topped with golden crispy tater tots.

01 - 450 g ground beef
02 - 425 g canned corn, drained
03 - 200 g shredded cheddar cheese
04 - 900 g frozen tater tots
05 - 300 g canned cream of mushroom soup
06 - 120 ml whole milk

07 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
08 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
09 - Salt, to taste
10 - Black pepper, to taste

# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat oven to 175°C.
02 - In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until thoroughly browned, breaking up with a spatula as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.
03 - Add cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to the cooked beef. Stir until well incorporated and heated through.
04 - Lightly grease a large baking dish. Evenly spread the beef mixture into the base. Layer the drained corn atop the beef, followed by a uniform sprinkling of shredded cheddar cheese.
05 - Arrange the frozen tater tots evenly on top of the cheese layer to fully cover the surface.
06 - Transfer the dish to the preheated oven and bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden and crisp.
07 - Remove from the oven and allow to cool for several minutes before serving.
