Grinch Hot Chocolate Cups (Print-Friendly Version)

Rich hot chocolate blended with cream and white chocolate, colored festive Grinch green. Cozy winter treat.

# Ingredients List:

01 - 4 cups (960 ml) heavy cream
02 - 4 cups (960 ml) whole milk or 2% milk
03 - 16 ounces (455 g) white chocolate chips
04 - 14 ounces (396 g) sweetened condensed milk
05 - 1 tablespoon (15 ml) vanilla extract
06 - Green food coloring, to desired shade
07 - Yellow food coloring, to adjust hue

# How to Make It:

01 - Add heavy cream, milk, white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla extract to a slow cooker. Stir gently until well incorporated.
02 - Set the slow cooker to low and cook for 2–3 hours. Stir every 20–30 minutes until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth.
03 - Add green and yellow food coloring a few drops at a time, mixing until the color matches your preference.
04 - Switch the slow cooker to warm and maintain temperature for up to 3 hours for serving. Optionally, garnish with mini marshmallows, whipped cream, or festive sprinkles before enjoying.
05 - To prepare on the stove, combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan. Heat over medium, bringing the mixture to a gentle simmer without boiling. Stir frequently for 5–10 minutes until the chocolate has melted and the beverage is fully blended, then serve.
06 - If hot chocolate becomes too thick, stir in additional milk, 60–120 ml at a time, until desired consistency is reached.

# Extra Tips:

01 - Avoid high heat as overheating will cause the cream to separate; always use low heat. Stir periodically to ensure a smooth, creamy texture.
