Garlic Steak and Potato Foil (Print Version)

Juicy sirloin with baby potatoes, seasoned with garlic and herbs, perfectly cooked in foil for a complete 30-minute dinner.

# Ingredients:

01 - 2-2 ½ pounds top sirloin steak, trimmed of fat and cut into 2 ½-inch pieces
02 - 1 pound baby yellow potatoes, quartered or halved if smaller than 1 inch
03 - 3 tablespoons olive oil
04 - 1 teaspoon salt
05 - ¼ teaspoon black pepper
06 - 1 tablespoon minced garlic
07 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
08 - 1 teaspoon dried oregano
09 - 1 teaspoon dried parsley
10 - 1 teaspoon dried thyme
11 - Fresh thyme or parsley for topping (optional)

# Steps to Follow:

01 - In a large bowl combine steak, potatoes, olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic, and seasonings. Toss until evenly coated.
02 - Divide the seasoned steak and potatoes into four separate 12x12 inch sheets of foil. Wrap tightly to form foil packets.
03 - Cook on a grill over high heat for about 10 minutes on each side, or bake in the oven at 425°F (220°C) for 20-25 minutes, until steak and potatoes are cooked to your desired doneness.
04 - Garnish with fresh thyme or parsley, if desired, and serve immediately.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Cut the steak into pieces at least 2x2 inches and the potatoes smaller than 1 inch for even cooking.
02 - For medium doneness, parboil the potatoes for 5 minutes before adding to the mix.
03 - For a charred finish, uncover the packets and place them directly on the grill or under the broiler for a few minutes.
