Garlic Parmesan Grilled Chicken (Print Version)

Tender chicken infused with garlic and herbs, grilled and finished with melted Parmesan for a simple yet flavorful main dish.

# Ingredients:

→ For the Marinade

01 - 1/4 cup olive oil
02 - 2 tablespoons lemon juice
03 - 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
04 - 4 garlic cloves, minced
05 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
06 - 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
07 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
08 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
09 - 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

→ For the Chicken

10 - 1 1/2 to 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
11 - Parmesan cheese, for topping
12 - Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

# Steps to Follow:

01 - In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, honey, garlic, seasonings, and Parmesan. Add chicken and toss to coat. Cover and marinate for at least 30 minutes (up to 4 hours for maximum flavor).
02 - Heat grill to medium-high. Oil grates lightly to prevent sticking.
03 - Remove chicken from marinade, letting excess drip off. Grill for 5–7 minutes per side, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and juices run clear.
04 - In the last 1–2 minutes of grilling, sprinkle more Parmesan over the top to let it melt slightly.
05 - Remove chicken from grill and allow it to rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley and extra cheese, if desired.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Great with grilled veggies, pasta, or served over a fresh salad.
02 - No grill available? You can also cook the chicken in a skillet or bake at 400°F (205°C) for 20–25 minutes.
03 - Use chicken thighs for extra juicy results, or chicken breasts for a leaner option.
