# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat the oven to 190°C. Lightly grease a 23x23 cm baking dish.
02 - In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter or heat oil. Sauté diced onion and sliced carrots for 4–5 minutes until softened. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute longer.
03 - Stir in shredded chicken, frozen peas, dried thyme, cream of chicken soup, and milk or broth. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until heated through.
04 - Pour the filling mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
05 - In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and black pepper. Cut in cold cubed butter using fingertips or a pastry cutter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
06 - Stir in milk just until a thick dough forms, being careful not to overmix.
07 - Drop spoonfuls of the dumpling dough evenly over the chicken filling. Bake in the preheated oven for 28–32 minutes until the dumplings are golden and set.
08 - Allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving. Scoop portions and enjoy warm.
