                Brush off any dirt from the morel mushrooms and slice them in half lengthwise to inspect for insects or debris.

                Set up three bowls: one with seasoned flour, one with beaten eggs and milk, and one with breadcrumbs or crushed crackers.

                Dredge each mushroom in flour, dip in the egg mixture, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.

                Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry the mushrooms until golden brown on all sides.

                Remove the fried mushrooms and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve hot with your preferred dipping sauce.
