In a skillet over medium heat, cook bacon slices until crisp. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate and set aside.

In a saucepan, melt unsalted butter over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar, soy sauce, and garlic powder until the mixture is smooth and fully combined.

In a baking dish, add the drained green beans. Reserve a small portion of crispy bacon. Toss the majority of the bacon with the beans in the dish.

Evenly pour the prepared buttery sauce over the green bean and bacon mixture.

Sprinkle the reserved bacon over the top of the beans.

Place dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges caramelize and the sauce is bubbling.

For enhanced caramelization, broil for an additional 3 minutes, watching closely.
