Set oven temperature to 190°C.

Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook, breaking apart with a spatula, until browned and fully cooked.

Stir corn, condensed cream of mushroom soup, 60 grams cheddar cheese, milk, sour cream, onion powder, black pepper, and crumbled bacon into the cooked beef. Mix until evenly combined.

Transfer beef mixture into a 23x33 cm baking dish. Spread mixture evenly. Arrange remaining cheddar cheese over the top, then line the surface with tater tots in a single layer.

Place baking dish uncovered on middle oven rack and bake for 40 to 45 minutes, until tater tots are crisp and golden.

Remove casserole from oven, sprinkle remaining shredded cheddar cheese over the tater tots, and return to oven. Bake an additional 5 minutes until cheese is melted.
