02 - 120 grams breadcrumbs
03 - 120 milliliters whole milk
04 - 2 large eggs
05 - 1 small onion, finely diced
06 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
07 - 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
08 - 1 tablespoon ketchup
09 - 1 teaspoon fine sea salt
10 - 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
11 - 1 teaspoon dried parsley
12 - 0.25 teaspoon smoked paprika

→ Glaze

13 - 120 grams ketchup
14 - 2 tablespoons brown sugar
15 - 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat oven to 190°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
02 - Combine breadcrumbs and milk in a large mixing bowl. Allow to soak for 5 minutes until liquid is absorbed.
03 - Incorporate ground beef, eggs, diced onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, salt, black pepper, dried parsley, and smoked paprika into the breadcrumb mixture.
04 - Gently mix ingredients by hand until just combined, avoiding overworking the mixture.
05 - Form the mixture into a compact loaf shape and transfer to the prepared baking sheet or place in a loaf pan.
06 - In a small bowl, whisk together ketchup, brown sugar, and Dijon mustard until smooth.
07 - Spread half of the prepared glaze evenly over the surface of the meatloaf.
08 - Bake in the oven for 45 minutes.
09 - Remove from oven, spread remaining glaze over loaf, then return to oven and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 71°C.
10 - Allow the meatloaf to rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with sides such as mashed potatoes or vegetables.

# Extra Tips:

01 - Letting the meatloaf rest before slicing ensures clean cuts and improved texture.
02 - Do not overmix the meat mixture, as this can result in a dense loaf.
