# Ingredients List:

→ Cookie Dough

01 - 227 g unsalted butter, softened
02 - 250 g granulated sugar
03 - 1 large egg
04 - 10 ml vanilla extract
05 - 2.5 ml almond extract (optional)
06 - 312 g all-purpose flour
07 - 2.5 ml baking soda
08 - 2.5 ml baking powder
09 - 1.25 ml salt

→ Topping

10 - 50 g granulated sugar, for coating

# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat oven to 175°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease with baking spray.
02 - In a large bowl, cream butter and granulated sugar using a stand or hand mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy, about 1 minute.
03 - Add the egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract; mix until fully incorporated.
04 - Add flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Mix on low speed just until a dough forms, scraping down sides as needed.
05 - Roll the dough into 2.5 cm balls, then roll each ball in the granulated sugar for coating.
06 - Place dough balls on prepared baking sheet, spacing 5 cm apart. Bake for 10 to 11 minutes, or until cookies are set but not browned.
07 - Transfer cookies to a wire rack to cool completely before serving.

# Extra Tips:

01 - For a colorful variation, roll dough balls in sprinkles instead of sugar before baking.
02 - Allow cookies to cool fully on a rack for optimal chewy texture.
03 - Cookies may be frosted or glazed after cooling if desired.
