01 -
Set oven to 175°C. Grease a 23x23 cm baking pan or line with parchment for easier cleanup.
02 -
Unroll crescent dough and press the triangles together evenly in the bottom of the pan, forming a uniform base.
03 -
In a mixing bowl, beat together cream cheese, granulated sugar, egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract (if using) until completely smooth.
04 -
Evenly spread the cream cheese mixture over the prepared crescent dough base.
05 -
Unroll a second can of crescent dough and carefully place over the filling, pinching seams to seal.
06 -
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until golden and the filling is just set. Allow to cool at least 10–15 minutes before glazing.
07 -
Whisk powdered sugar, milk or cream, and vanilla extract together until smooth. Adjust thickness with more sugar or liquid as needed.
08 -
Drizzle glaze over the still-warm bake. Top with berries, nuts, coconut, or sprinkles if desired. Slice into squares for serving. Offer warm or at room temperature.
