Mouthwatering Caramel Apple Pie Bombs (Print-Friendly Version)

Soft biscuit dough wraps cinnamon apples and gooey caramel for a warm, golden baked dessert.

# Ingredients List:

→ Apple Filling

01 - 2 apples, peeled and finely chopped
02 - 2 tablespoons brown sugar
03 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
04 - Pinch of salt
05 - 1 tablespoon unsalted butter

→ Assembly

06 - 460 grams refrigerated biscuit dough (1 can, 16.3 oz)
07 - 8 pieces caramel candy
08 - 2 tablespoons butter, melted
09 - Cinnamon sugar, optional

# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat the oven to 175°C and grease a medium baking dish with cooking spray.
02 - In a medium skillet over medium-high heat, melt 1 tablespoon unsalted butter. Add chopped apples, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Cook, stirring occasionally, until apples are tender and mixture is bubbling, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and allow filling to cool slightly.
03 - Separate biscuit dough into individual rounds. Gently stretch and flatten each biscuit using your fingers, rolling pin, or tortilla press until evenly thin.
04 - Place 1 tablespoon apple filling in the center of each flattened biscuit. Top with one piece of caramel candy. Bring dough edges up over the filling and pinch to fully seal. Roll gently into a ball.
05 - Arrange sealed dough balls seam side down in the prepared baking dish. Brush tops with melted butter. Optionally, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar for added flavor.
06 - Bake in preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes until dough is golden brown.
07 - Remove from oven and transfer to a serving platter. Serve warm. For a more decadent finish, accompany with caramel sauce or vanilla ice cream.

# Extra Tips:

01 - Flattening the biscuit dough ensures more filling can be enclosed and helps prevent the dough from tearing during assembly.
