# Ingredients:

→ Mocktail Ingredients

01 - Fresh blueberries, 1 pint, muddled
02 - Fresh basil leaves, 1 cup, chopped
03 - Fresh lemon juice, 1/2 cup (approximately the juice of 2 lemons)
04 - Lavender simple syrup, 3/4 cup
05 - Soda water, 1 1/2 cups
06 - Ice cubes

→ Lavender Simple Syrup

07 - Sugar, 1 cup
08 - Water, 1 cup
09 - Lavender buds (food grade), 1/2 cup

# Steps to Follow:

01 - In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of sugar and 1 cup of water. Stir over medium heat until the sugar is fully dissolved. Add 1/2 cup of lavender buds to the saucepan. Remove from heat and let the mixture steep until it cools to room temperature. Strain the syrup to remove the lavender buds and transfer it to a clean container.
02 - In a medium-sized pitcher, add the muddled blueberries, chopped basil, and fresh lemon juice. Muddle the ingredients together to release their flavors.
03 - Add 2 cups of ice cubes to the pitcher. Pour in the lavender simple syrup and soda water. Stir thoroughly to combine all ingredients.
04 - Pour the mocktail into glasses filled with ice. Garnish with additional blueberries, lemon slices, and basil leaves. Serve immediately and enjoy.

# Additional Notes:

01 - For a spiked version, consider adding gin or vodka to taste.
02 - Adjust the sweetness by varying the amount of lavender simple syrup.
03 - This mocktail can be prepared in advance; however, it’s best to add the soda water just before serving to maintain its effervescence.
