Bell Pepper Stuffed Tacos (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 bell peppers
02 - 1 lb ground beef or turkey
03 - 1/3 cup taco seasoning
04 - 1 cup chopped lettuce
05 - 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
06 - 1 cup shredded cheese of choice
07 - sour cream and salsa, optional
08 - 4 tbsp water

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
02 - Brown the ground meat in a pan over medium heat until fully cooked. Stir in the taco seasoning and water. Continue cooking for another 2-3 minutes, then remove from heat.
03 - Slice each bell pepper in half lengthwise. Remove the stems and seeds, then place the peppers on a cookie sheet or in a baking pan.
04 - Fill each bell pepper with chopped lettuce, the cooked taco meat mixture, and top with chopped tomatoes and shredded cheese. Optionally, add additional toppings like avocado, cilantro, or jalapeños as desired.
05 - Bake the stuffed bell peppers in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and slightly browned.
06 - Top the baked stuffed peppers with sour cream and salsa, if desired. Enjoy immediately.
