# Ingredients:

→ For the Meatloaf

01 - ½ cup plain dried breadcrumbs
02 - 2 teaspoons Kosher salt
03 - 1 ½ teaspoons chili powder
04 - 1 teaspoon black pepper
05 - 1 teaspoon ground cumin
06 - ¾ teaspoon garlic powder
07 - ½ teaspoon onion powder
08 - ½ cup milk
09 - 1 large egg, beaten
10 - 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
11 - 1 ½ teaspoon unsalted liquid smoke
12 - 2 pounds 80/20 ground beef
13 - 1 small yellow onion, finely minced

→ For the Topping

14 - ⅔ cup thick, sweet BBQ Sauce (separated)

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare a rimmed sheet pan lined with foil, preferably nonstick foil.
02 - In a large bowl, use a fork to mix together breadcrumbs, salt, chili powder, black pepper, cumin, garlic powder, and onion powder.
03 - Add the milk, egg, Worcestershire sauce, and liquid smoke to the bowl and mix once more.
04 - Add the ground beef and minced onion to the mixture and use your hands to combine evenly.
05 - Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan and shape it into a narrow loaf, ensuring space for spreading during baking.
06 - Pour half of the BBQ sauce over the meatloaf and bake for 35 minutes.
07 - Remove the meatloaf from the oven, pour the remaining BBQ sauce evenly over the top, and bake for an additional 25 minutes.
08 - Allow the meatloaf to rest for about 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
