Bang Bang Chicken Bowl (Print Version)

Tender chicken pieces coated in creamy sriracha-honey sauce, served with rice and crisp vegetables for a quick, flavorful meal.

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast
02 - 1 cup cooked rice
03 - 1 cup mixed veggies (broccoli, bell peppers, carrots)
04 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
05 - Salt and pepper to taste

→ For the sauce

06 - 1/2 cup mayonnaise
07 - 2 tablespoons sriracha
08 - 1 tablespoon honey
09 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
10 - 1 teaspoon lime juice

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Cook your rice according to the package instructions. Set it aside once ready. Using a rice cooker ensures perfectly cooked rice.
02 - Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper. Cutting the chicken into smaller pieces allows it to cook evenly.
03 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken pieces and sauté until golden brown and cooked through, approximately 6-8 minutes. Ensure the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F.
04 - Combine mayonnaise, sriracha, honey, garlic powder, and lime juice in a small bowl. Adjust the sriracha or honey to balance spiciness and sweetness to your preference.
05 - Toss in the mixed vegetables with the cooked chicken and sauté for 2-3 minutes until tender but slightly crisp.
06 - Remove the skillet from the heat and pour the prepared sauce over the chicken and vegetables. Stir until everything is evenly coated. Serve over cooked rice and garnish with extra sriracha or chopped green onions, if desired.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Use a meat thermometer to ensure chicken is cooked thoroughly.
02 - Adjust the amount of sriracha for your desired spice level.
03 - Don’t overcook the vegetables to retain their texture and nutrients.
04 - Cauliflower rice can be used as a low-carb alternative.
05 - Garnish with green onions or sesame seeds for extra flavor.
