Baked Pears Goat Cheese Honey (Print-Friendly Version)

Golden pears with goat cheese and honey pair perfectly with fresh cranberries for a satisfying dessert.

# Ingredients List:

→ Produce

01 - 3 ripe but firm pears (Bartlett or Bosc), halved and cored
02 - 1/3 cup (approximately 40 g) fresh cranberries
03 - Fresh mint leaves, for garnish (optional)

→ Dairy

04 - 85 g goat cheese
05 - 2 tbsp (28 g) unsalted butter

→ Sweeteners and Spices

06 - 2 tbsp (30 ml) honey, plus extra for drizzling
07 - 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon, for garnish (optional)

# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat oven to 190°C. Slice pears in half lengthwise and carefully remove cores; trim the bottoms if needed for stability.
02 - Position pear halves cut-side up in a baking dish and top each with a pat of unsalted butter.
03 - Roast in the preheated oven for 20 minutes until pears are soft and golden around the edges.
04 - As pears bake, combine cranberries and 2 tbsp honey in a small saucepan over low heat. Simmer gently until cranberries begin to burst, about 5 minutes. Set aside.
05 - Remove pears from oven and allow to cool slightly. Spoon goat cheese into the core cavity of each pear half.
06 - Spoon warm cranberry mixture over the goat cheese, drizzle with additional honey, and garnish with fresh mint leaves and a dash of ground cinnamon if desired. Serve warm or slightly chilled.

# Extra Tips:

01 - For best results, select pears that are just ripe to maintain structure during roasting.
