# Ingredients:

01 - 2 cups all-purpose flour
02 - 1 tablespoon sugar
03 - 1 teaspoon baking powder
04 - 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
05 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
06 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, chilled and cubed
07 - 1/2 cup cold buttermilk
08 - 1 medium apple, peeled and diced
09 - 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

→ Cheesecake Filling

10 - 8 oz cream cheese, softened
11 - 1/4 cup sugar
12 - 1 egg
13 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

→ Crumble Topping

14 - 1/2 cup rolled oats
15 - 1/2 cup brown sugar
16 - 1/4 cup melted butter
17 - 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

# Steps to Follow:

01 - In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Add the chilled butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
02 - Pour in the cold buttermilk and stir until just combined. Gently fold in the diced apple and cinnamon. Be careful not to overmix.
03 - In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with sugar until smooth. Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until fully incorporated. Set aside.
04 - Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
05 - On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough into a rectangle about 1/2 inch thick. Cut into squares. Place a tablespoon of cream cheese filling in the center of each square. Fold the corners over to create a bun shape and seal well.
06 - In a small bowl, mix together the oats, brown sugar, melted butter, and cinnamon until crumbly.
07 - Place the buns on the prepared baking sheet and top each with crumble mixture. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the buns are golden brown.
08 - Allow the buns to cool slightly before serving.
