# Ingredients:

01 - 12–15 fresh figs
02 - 2 tablespoons honey
03 - 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
04 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
05 - A pinch of sea salt
06 - Fresh thyme or rosemary (optional)
07 - Nuts such as walnuts or pistachios (optional)
08 - Spices such as cinnamon or cardamom (optional)
09 - Brown sugar (optional)
10 - Crumbled feta or goat cheese (optional)
11 - Fresh mint leaves (optional)
12 - Greek yogurt (optional)

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
02 - Rinse the fresh figs gently under cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel. Cut a small cross in the top of each fig using a sharp knife.
03 - In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, and a pinch of sea salt.
04 - Place the figs in a single layer on a baking sheet or in a baking dish, cut side up. Drizzle the glaze mixture over the figs.
05 - Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and roast for about 15-20 minutes, until the figs are tender and caramelized.
06 - Remove from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes. Serve warm, drizzled with any remaining glaze and garnished with your choice of toppings.
