Ranch Chicken Crock Pot (Print Version)

Juicy chicken slow-cooked in a creamy ranch sauce until tender and flavorful, perfect for busy weeknights with minimal prep.

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
02 - 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
03 - 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
04 - 1/2 cup chicken broth
05 - 1/2 cup sour cream
06 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
07 - 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
08 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
09 - 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional for searing)
10 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
11 - Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

# Steps to Follow:

01 - If desired, heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Sear the chicken breasts on both sides until golden brown (about 2-3 minutes per side). This step is optional but adds extra flavor.
02 - In the crockpot, add the cream of chicken soup, ranch seasoning, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Stir to combine.
03 - Place the chicken breasts into the crockpot and coat them with the sauce mixture. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is cooked through.
04 - Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks and stir it into the creamy sauce. Stir in sour cream for extra creaminess and flavor. Garnish with shredded cheese and parsley, if desired.

# Additional Notes:

01 - For extra flavor, you can sear the chicken before adding it to the crockpot.
02 - Add vegetables like carrots, potatoes, or peas to make this a one-pot meal.
