Maple Bacon Carrots (Print Version)

Tender carrots wrapped in crispy bacon, glazed with maple syrup for a perfect sweet and savory side dish.

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 pounds carrots, less than ½ inch thick, peeled
02 - 1 pound thin-sliced bacon
03 - ¼ cup maple syrup

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Preheat oven to 400°F.
02 - Wrap one slice of bacon tightly around each carrot, starting at the thick end of the carrot. Be careful not to overlap the layers.
03 - Arrange the carrots on a wire rack placed on a baking sheet.
04 - Bake for 25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the carrots are tender.
05 - Remove from the oven and carefully glaze all sides of the carrots with the maple syrup.
06 - Bake for an additional 8-10 minutes.
07 - Serve warm.
