Key West Grilled Chicken (Print Version)

Tropical-inspired chicken with citrusy lime marinade, honey, and herbs for a perfectly juicy grilled dish packed with island flavors.

# Ingredients:

→ Marinade

01 - 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
02 - 3 tbsp soy sauce or coconut aminos
03 - 2 tbsp honey
04 - 1 tbsp vegetable oil
05 - Juice of 1 lime
06 - 1 tsp minced garlic
07 - 1 tsp fresh cilantro, chopped
08 - 2 tbsp red bell pepper, finely chopped

# Steps to Follow:

01 - In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, vegetable oil, lime juice, minced garlic, chopped cilantro, and finely chopped red bell pepper.
02 - Add the chicken breast halves to the marinade and coat evenly. Let marinate for 30 minutes to 2 hours.
03 - Preheat the grill to high and lightly oil the grates.
04 - Grill the marinated chicken for 6–8 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F).
05 - Allow the chicken to rest for 5 minutes before serving.

01 - For a spicier flavor, add jalapeño or red pepper flakes to the marinade.
02 - Chicken thighs can be used instead of breasts for a different texture.
