Divide and shape the mixture into 6 evenly sized patties. Use a burger press or container lid for uniform thickness, and press a small dimple in the center of each patty to prevent puffing during cooking. Wet your hands with cold water to stop the meat from sticking.

Preheat your grill, skillet, or grill pan. Cook patties over medium heat to your desired doneness: 130-135°F for medium-rare, 140-145°F for medium, or 160°F for well-done. Flip carefully to avoid breakage and avoid pressing down on patties to retain juices.
