Greek Chicken Meatballs Tzatziki (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Meatballs

01 - 1 lb ground chicken
02 - 1 egg
03 - ½ cup breadcrumbs
04 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
05 - ¼ cup red onion, finely chopped
06 - 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
07 - 1 tsp dried oregano
08 - 1 tsp salt
09 - ½ tsp black pepper
10 - 1 tbsp lemon juice
11 - 1 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)

→ Tzatziki Sauce

12 - 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
13 - ½ cucumber, grated and excess moisture squeezed out
14 - 1 clove garlic, minced
15 - 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
16 - 1 tbsp lemon juice
17 - 1 tbsp olive oil
18 - Salt, to taste
19 - Black pepper, to taste

→ Garnish

20 - 2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped

# Steps to Follow:

01 - In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, egg, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, red onion, parsley, oregano, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice until just mixed.
02 - Shape the mixture into small meatballs about 1½ inches in diameter.
03 - Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook meatballs for 8–10 minutes until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F).
04 - Mix Greek yogurt, grated cucumber (excess moisture removed), minced garlic, dill, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and black pepper until smooth. Chill before serving.
