In a hot skillet, sear steak for 3–4 minutes per side or until desired doneness. Remove and let rest.

In the same pan, reduce heat and melt butter. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.

Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, and sesame oil. Simmer for 1 minute. Add noodles to the sauce and toss to coat. Use reserved pasta water to loosen sauce if needed.

Slice steak thinly against the grain. Arrange over noodles, garnish with herbs and red pepper flakes, and serve immediately.
