# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 12 oz ribeye or sirloin steak
02 - 8 oz lo mein or fettuccine noodles

→ Sauce and Seasonings

03 - 3 tbsp unsalted butter
04 - 4 garlic cloves, minced
05 - 2 tbsp soy sauce
06 - 1 tbsp brown sugar
07 - 1 tsp sesame oil
08 - Salt and black pepper, to taste
09 - 1/4 cup reserved pasta water

→ Garnish

10 - 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley or cilantro
11 - 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Season steak with salt and black pepper; let rest at room temperature for 15–20 minutes.
02 - Cook noodles according to package instructions; drain and reserve 1/4 cup pasta water.
03 - In a hot skillet, sear steak for 3–4 minutes per side or until desired doneness. Remove and let rest.
04 - In the same pan, reduce heat and melt butter. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
05 - Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, and sesame oil. Simmer for 1 minute. Add noodles to the sauce and toss to coat. Use reserved pasta water to loosen sauce if needed.
06 - Slice steak thinly against the grain. Arrange over noodles, garnish with herbs and red pepper flakes, and serve immediately.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Letting the steak rest before cooking ensures an even distribution of flavor.
