Churro Stuffed French Toast (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Filling

01 - 4 oz cream cheese, softened
02 - 2 tbsp powdered sugar
03 - 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

→ French Toast

04 - 8 slices thick-cut bread (brioche or Texas toast)
05 - 2 large eggs
06 - 1/2 cup milk
07 - 1 tsp vanilla extract
08 - 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
09 - 2 tbsp granulated sugar
10 - Pinch of salt
11 - 2 tbsp butter (for frying)

→ Cinnamon Sugar Coating

12 - 1/2 cup granulated sugar
13 - 1 tsp ground cinnamon

# Steps to Follow:

01 - In a small bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Spread the mixture on 4 slices of bread, then top with the remaining slices to form sandwiches.
02 - In a shallow dish, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, sugar, and salt.
03 - Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and melt butter. Dip each stuffed sandwich into the egg mixture, coating both sides evenly. Cook for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy.
04 - In a shallow dish, mix sugar and cinnamon for the coating. Immediately after cooking, coat each French toast in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
05 - Serve warm with maple syrup, whipped cream, or chocolate sauce for extra indulgence!

# Additional Notes:

01 - For an even richer taste, add a pinch of nutmeg to the egg mixture.
