01 - 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 680g)
02 - 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
03 - 1-inch piece fresh ginger, grated

→ Sauce Ingredients

04 - ½ cup (120ml) low-sodium soy sauce
05 - ¼ cup (60ml) bourbon
06 - ⅓ cup (67g) brown sugar
07 - 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
08 - 1 teaspoon sesame oil

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces for even cooking.
02 - In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and grated ginger; sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
03 - Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until golden brown and fully cooked (about 6 to 8 minutes).
04 - In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, bourbon, brown sugar, cornstarch mixture, and sesame oil.
05 - Pour the sauce over the chicken in the skillet; stir to coat evenly and simmer for an additional 5 minutes until thickened.
06 - Serve immediately over rice or noodles, drizzling extra sauce on top.
